Virtual And Reality - Two Completely Different Lives

Hey guys,

Something that's been on my mind lately is how easy it is that people can get so wrapped up on being connected to the Internet. How there lives are changed due to what is happening online.

Now, I know this may sound hypocritical coming from a blogger who is literally spending time to write down words onto a page that maybe no one is actually is reading.

However it gives me the freedom of expressing my thoughts and connecting to those who may or may not agree with me; it is all down to opinion.
It allows me to connect with people I never would have the chance too.

On the other hand, that's not what everyone else is using the Internet. The freedom that I and everyone else has does not mean because I'm behind a screen that I get to judge anyone I please.
This is the main topic of this blog.

I do love to watch YouTube and escape to the online world, but it's never the same as being with someone you care about, having fun and enjoying the moment. Nothing beats that feeling.

Recently, the Internet has become a world of hate. A place where people will say the first words that come into their minds and post them. Those words have a real affect on people. The most tragic thing about it aswell is that, those words are never ending, wether they get deleted or not. They stay with people forever, it's the way that person deals with it that determines the effect on them.

When people are hit with that sort of negativity; (it doesn't matter if it's just one word) that you think could never affect anyone, you don't know the real damage that it may have on that person.
People could right the smallest of things, even if they think that what they are saying is gentle, it is still negative and can really hurt someone without you even knowing. I've definatly felt that way before and it's never good.

A story that has really put things into perspective recently is Blogger and YouTuber, Zoella. I have been watching her and YouTube and reading her blogs now for only 2 years but I truely enjoy and appreciate what she has to say and the content that she posts (If your a fan, which you most likely are, then you'll understand).

Lately, she has been getting so much hate (no need to get into details, it's not my place to discuss the issue), from people who don't even know her (because truley, no one ever does).
Right now, the only information you have about me is my gender(I'm a girl by the way, just in case😉) and I could so easily be judged just by the words you are reading right now, does that seem fair?

I know this blog hasn't been exceedingly positive but it's been a topic that I really wanted to express my point of view on.

I'm sure, you and whoever else is reading this are truelly wonderful! And I can't wait to start the new year with you ❤️ Please share any comments you wish below ❤️

Happy New Year and Welcome to 2015‼️
