Emotional Times In Life

Hi guys

So recently I haven't been myself and my confidence levels have defiantly decreased to a low level. Now I don't want attention and I'm not just saying this for sympathy but I just wanted to rant my feelings and I thought why not on my blog.

Now I'm not the most popular girl you'll ever meet, but I do have some good friends who will defiantly be there for me when I need them but sometimes I don't have that feeling and I forget about those certain people and life just feels lonely.

I'm not a person who communicates over social media a lot or likes to text so it's hard to keep in touch with certain people. Which is usually why I drift away from most of my friends, which can really dig into me, especially when I'm not in good mood to start of with.
Recently it's defiantly got a lot harder to deal with this problem as I see my friends meeting up and having gatherings with everyone and obviously having a good time and I don't get invited.

I've not been as close with them lately as I would of liked to have been as I don't see them as much. I've recently switched colleges so I don't see them like I used too but I thought that we would still be close and meet up every now and then. Now I just feel totally forgotten and it makes me sad that I've spent a whole year with these people but they don't try to get me involved in certain things.

I don't have the confidence I wished I did and I struggle to talk to people as I feel that I'm bugging them by simply just saying "hi" to them which not many people understand. It's the main reason why I don't make conversation even if I really wanted too.

It might not be a big deal and I'm possibly blowing this out of proportion but it's just a situation I wanted to talk about and I felt most comfortable sharing this with you guys.

If you feel the same or want to leave advice for anyone who could possibly be feeling the same way, leave a comment.

Mini Eggs Delight

Hey guys,
It's finally Easter time! I know it's really known for Jesus resurrecting but it's also time to eat as much chocolate as you want without feeling guilty. Usually, I would only have Easter eggs to eat, but this year I wanted to be more creative and, for once, actually do some baking. However, I'm just going to be doing some classic chocolate cupcakes and that wouldn't make out for a good blog since there is nothing interesting to it. Instead, I'm just going to be sharing the decorating part with you, which is my favourite part to baking.

Personally, I am baking my cupcakes from scratch, but there are other ways. One of the easiest ways is to just buy some plain ones from a shop, get some cupcake mix or just do what i did and make them from scratch, just a little tip, I went for a large sized cupcake case so I would be able to fit the decorations on. Also, you don't have to make chocolate cupcakes, as it can become a bit too rich.

Ingredients for decorating:
• Chocolate Icing
• Flake(s)
• Bag of Mini Eggs
• Cupcakes

Before starting, make sure the top of your cupcakes are flat so everything will balance and fit on top of the cupcakes.

Begin by slicing the flakes small enough to fit a few on top of the cupcake. I used 4 flakes in total but it depends on how many you are making and what size they will be.

Don't forgot to get a bag or two of mini eggs. It never hurts to have extras left over.

Now to the actual decorating, and because we are using icing, you'll have to do them one at a time.
Spread the icing over the top of the cupcake, then place the flakes on top. Don't stack them to high, only place what is necessary, so you can actually eat it.
Next place a small amount of icing on the side of a mini egg and place another mini egg onto the icing allowing them to stick together. Then place some more icing on the mini eggs and put it on top of the flakes. Hold them down for a couple of seconds gently so they will stay in
Do this to the rest of the cupcakes, I could only fit two but you can place as many as you like.

This is one of my completed cupcakes.

And here they all are on my cupcake stand.

I hope you enjoyed this little blog. I know it's very different from what I have recently been blogging about, but I thought it was something quite cute and fun to do, and it also fits this specific time of the year. Please let me know in the comments what you did for Easter, did you bake? Or did you stick to the classic Easter egg?

And The Nominees Are...

Hey guys,
I started my blog just after Christmas with little knowledge about the area. I have only ever read about three blog posts so I wasn't quite sure what to write about or how to actually write the blog. I just started by writing about what I wanted to talk about, some subjects that have been on my mind for a long time.

So, onto the main subject, drum roll please... I have been nominated for the Liebster Award! When I was notified that I had been nominated, I was generally excited but I had no idea what the Liebster Award actually was. You might know what it is already but if you don't, here is a quick summary about it:

The Liebster Award is passed on from blogger to blogger who are generally new and have a low amount of followers, it allows them to get more recognition which is why I think its quite an amazing thing. It allows a wider audience to view small blogs. It also allows small blogs to connect with each other which they might not of been able to have the opportunity to do so before.

I was nominated for the Liebster Award by Olivia Jacinta, Thank you so much!!xx If you want to check out her amazing posts, here is her blog: oliviajacinta09.blogspot.co.uk.

Part of the Liebster Award is to answer questions from the blogger who nominated you, so here we go

What is your favourite colour?
My favourite colour is sky blue, I chose this colour when I was quite young. It was because my eyes used to be bright blue (they're still blue just not as bright) and my mum would always comment on them. Plus it's a really pretty colour.

What is your favourite dessert or sweet food?
I really love chocolate cake, I know its not very interesting but who doesn't love chocolate.

What is your favourite memory?
My favorite memory is with me, my brother and sister when we were all on the beach in the summer.

What is your biggest fear?
I think my biggest fear is not being accepted. I know that's such a dumb thing to think but whether it's at school or at work, it's a day to day struggle.

Where would you like to travel/holiday?
I would really love to travel the world, see all the famous landmarks but to pin it down, I would really love to see America.

What is your dream job?
My dream job would be doing this or youtube as they seem to be a great way to work. However, I would also love to be a photographer, at the moment it's just a hobby.

Do you have any siblings?
I have a younger sister and an older brother.

Do you have any pets?
I used to have a rabbit when I was younger but I don't remember the name. Now I have a dog.

What is your favourite number?
I chose my favourite number when I was 7. I don't remember why I chose this number but I was seven at the time and it is the month I was born so it could be because of one of those points.

Last time you laughed?
This is the hardest question to answer out of them all, I think its because you laugh so much that you can't pin it on a certain point in time. I think it could be this morning, probably something my sister said, not quite sure what though.

Favourite author, singer/musician, youtuber or actor?
I don't read a lot, but its something I want to do more often. My favourite author would have to be Suzanne Collins for her triology, 'The Hunger Games'.
At the moment i'm really enjoying George Ezra's songs so he would be my favourite singer.
My favourite youtuber is between 'Sprinkle Of Glitter'(Louise Pentland) and Zoella(Zoe Sugg). I really enjoy watching their videos.
My favourite actor would be Josh Hutcherson and favourite actress would be Katherine Heigl. Both of them have been in some great movies.

I would like to nominate:
Typical Teen Girl - typicalteengirlx.blogspot.co.uk
Little Owl - littleowl2689.blogspot.co.uk
One Less Stranger - one-lessstranger.blogspot.co.uk

Here are my 11 questions for you:

2. What hobby/ies do you enjoy?
3. What is your favourite thing about yourself?
4. What is your lucky number?
5. What is your favourite food takeaway?
6. What is your favourite clothing brand?
7. Where have you gone on holiday?
8. What is your favourite social media?
9. What is your favourite wild animal?
10. Do you have any pets?

Tried to make the questions as original as possible.

Fashion Is Heaven And Hell

Hey guys,
Sorry I haven't uploaded in a long time. I've had a couple of tough weeks with college and work and everything else. I am sorry that I didn't keep to weekly posts like I said I would do. Luckily I've just had a brainstorm with loads of ideas and topics to share with you and I can't wait to start them.

In my last blog 'What Is My Blog About?' I said that I wanted to do fashion and beauty but would only do that if this blog progresses well. However, I don't won't to wait to talk about something on mind. It defeats the whole purpose of what I want this to become, so this is my first actual fashion blog and I hope you enjoy reading it.

When I was 14, I hated the idea of having to go shopping and whenever my mum asked if I would like to go with her, I would always refuse (I decided once that I would rather do a couple hours work instead, really wasn't worth it). I just was never really interested, it wasn't that I didn't like wearing nice outfits and enjoyed having new clothes to wear, I just disliked the travel and spending time in shops where I wasn't purchasing anything.
However, since then I've really got fascinated with fashion and what is trending (although I'm not very good at keeping up with it) and I love looking at clothes and actually purchasing a few of them.

I love trying to find out the latest trends (which makes me sound really old; trying to get down with the kids), it's just that, and this is when the 'HELL' begins, I'm not great at picking out clothes. I think this is why I never really liked going shopping, I just struggled choosing something that looks nice and works together instead of just looking like I had just picked whatever I saw first and chucked it on.
I see loads of pictures of people who just wear such amazing outfits and look perfect in them. Every time I see an outfit that looks amazing, I can always find a fault with it. It is the most irritating thing in the world.

I'm not saying I'm terrible with fashion, but I'm defiantly not going to be the next big designer coming up with incredible new fashion trends and idea's. The only reason I'm not leaving the house in my pyjamas everyday is that when I do go shopping, I'm usually with my sister or my mum who happen to be a great help in that area. I am going to be useless living on my own without them which is why I am so grateful that I have them, otherwise I wouldn't be able to "borrow" my sisters gorgeous clothes (I won't admit that to her personally though, her ego is big enough as it is without me telling her that).

I'm really excited to get an all new summer wardrobe this year. Last year, I moaned so much that I worked too much and never got a chance to do what I want. Even though I did work and had long shifts, with my days off I would be so unproductive so I never really needed a lot of new clothes. This is why I'm planning to be more productive on my days off and go shopping for new items, I also need new clothes for college which I'm really looking forward too.

I will be doing a haul for you guys when I get some new items, I'm not to sure when that will be but I can't wait to share it with you.

Don't forget to follow me and leave a comment about your opinions on fashion, your ups and downs in the process of it all.
